At least one injured after vehicle crashes into Lee’s Summit smoke shop

LEE’S SUMMIT, Missouri (KCTV) – At least one person was injured after a vehicle crashed into a smokers’ discount store in Lee’s Summit.

The Lee’s Summit Police Department reports that on Tuesday afternoon, July 2, emergency crews were called to the Discount Smoke Shop at 705 SE Melody Ln. for reports of a collision.

When emergency services arrived, they found that a vehicle had crashed into the building and the front walkway was covered in broken glass.

Police noted that injuries were reported, but the nature of the injuries remains unclear. No further information about the incident has been released.
