The Wyoming Weed and Pest Council (WWPC) recently partnered with the Wyoming Craft Brewers Guild to sponsor this year’s inaugural Pint Glass Art Contest.

Artists from across the state submitted their artwork for a chance to be featured on a limited edition pint glass during Wyoming Craft Beer Week (June 8-15), along with a $500 cash prize.

WWPC was proud to sponsor the contest and congratulates its very first winner, Ella Bishop-Heil of Casper.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in rangeland ecology and watershed management from the University of Wyoming and works as a conservation specialist.

Ella chose to include images of some of the state’s most beloved species, which are classified as “Species of Greatest Need for Conservation.” Her message of conservation aligns with WWPC’s mission to reduce the spread of invasive species and keep Wyoming wild and beautiful.

Pint glasses are still available at select Wyoming taprooms. Those interested in purchasing the glasses should check with their local brewery to see what they have in stock.

Congratulations, Ella!
