Crawford County Public Health conducted the following restaurant inspections with serious violations in June:

Arby’s700 N. Sandusky Ave., Bucyrus, June 10. Time/Temperature Control for Safe Food – Keep Warm (critical, corrected during inspection). Observed keeping burgers warm below 135 degrees. Manager voluntarily discarded burgers and corrected violation. Monitor keeping warm temperatures.

Highway #8493400 N. Sandusky Ave., Bucyrus, June 11. Time/temperature controlled for safe food – cold storage (critical). Temperatures in cold room were observed above 105 degrees. Operator moved potentially hazardous food items during inspection. Cold room cannot be used to store potentially hazardous food items until unit is repaired. Correct by re-inspection on June 17.

Bucyrus Duchess Shop #11161880 E. Mansfield St., Bucyrus, June 14. Ready to eat, time/temperature controlled for safe food – date marking (critical, corrected during inspection). Food observed in coolers without proper date marking (boiled eggs, hot dogs, sausage, bratwurst). Ensure food is properly marked and discarded within seven days. Manager placed proper dates on products during inspection.

Highway #8493400 N. Sandusky Ave., Bucyrus, June 17. Time/Temperature Controlled for Safe Food – Cold Storage (Critical Repetition). Temperatures in the cold room were observed above 105 degrees. Upon re-inspection on June 17, the cold room had still not been repaired. The facility will not store potentially hazardous foods in the cold room until it is repaired. The facility will contact the inspector once the cold room is repaired.

North Side Fuel Stop LLC1505 N. Sandusky Ave., Bucyrus, June 18. Time/temperature controlled for safe food – hold warm (critical, corrected during inspection). Chicken strips were slightly below 135 degrees in hold warm. Manager adjusted temperature in unit. Make sure food is placed directly under warming lights in unit.

Circle K #4705653405 N. Sandusky Ave., Bucyrus, June 18. Ready to eat, time/temperature controlled for safe food – date stamp (critical, corrected during inspection). Pepperoni rolls observed in prep cooler without date. Operator placed correct date on rolls during inspection.
