QUEENSA cyclist was taken to the hospital in Queens Wednesday afternoon after he was struck by a car that was fleeing a traffic stop, authorities said.

The incident took place at 31st Avenue and Crescent Street in Astoria.

The victim was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was in critical condition.

A suspect is in custody and the incident is still under investigation.
