SANGER, Calif. (KFSN) — Sanger High’s wrestling team is asking the community for support after fireworks worth at least $25,000 were stolen from their booth.

The wrestling team posted on Facebook that they made the discovery Wednesday morning at their booth near Highway 180 and Academy.

They broke the lock on their shipping container and took approximately $25,000 to $35,000 worth of fireworks.

A police report was filed and Sanger police are now looking for the suspects. Police have not released any information about the suspects.

The fireworks stand remains open and the wrestling team now hopes to make up for its losses.
