The WNBA All-Star players have been announced and to no one’s surprise, two NEW names have been announced that will be the talk of the league this season.

Caitlyn Clark of the Indiana Fever and Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky were chosen for the All-Star Game, which will take place on July 20 in Phoenix, Arizona. The WNBA All Stars will then compete against the U.S. women’s national team.

Clark and Reese garnered nearly 1 million votes as the only rookies named to the team, with Clark garnering more than 700,000 votes and Reese garnering more than 380,000 votes.

Both players are in their freshman year and have drawn a lot of attention to the league and women’s basketball since their time at their respective colleges of Iowa and LSU, but on July 20, they will be teammates.

Clark and Reese are joined by other All-Star selectees, including Aj’a Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces, Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty and Clark’s Indiana teammate Aliyah Boston.
