A new corn maze is opening just a stone’s throw from a Norfolk farm shop that recently doubled in size.

The Goat Shed in Honingham, located on the A47 between Dereham and Norwich, opened a new butchery, bakery and delicatessen at the end of June.

Owner Sam Steggles has now revealed plans for a corn maze at the site, which is set to open on Saturday 20th July 2024.

The theme is goat cheese and goat cheese. Currently the harvest is 60 cm high, but by the time the harvest is launched it is expected to be over 180 cm high.

It will be open all summer, but is scheduled to only welcome visitors on weekends in October, culminating in a Halloween-themed maze.

Mr Steggles said: “Our customers have been asking us for more activities for families, so we thought a corn maze would be a great addition.”

The converted horse-drawn truck ‘On The Hoof’ also serves coffee, ice cream and other treats.

Tickets go on sale Friday 5th July at 9am via goat-shed.co.uk

Tickets cost £7 for adults, £8 for children (3-17 years), £4 for children under 3 and children under 1 are free (£1 more on the day).
