Olivia Culpo had specific rules for her and her current husband Christian McCaffrey’s wedding that even her older sister Aurora Culpo had to abide by.

On Wednesday, July 3, Aurora released an episode of her Barely filtered podcast in which the two sisters talk about the wedding on June 29 and the days before.

Midway through the episode, Aurora, 35, and Olivia, 32, joked about Aurora bringing her new boyfriend to the wedding.

“He’s not invited to the wedding,” Olivia said quickly after her older sister hinted at a question for Olivia about her boyfriend. “If that’s what you’re going to say.”

“Rude,” Aurora remarked.

Olivia disagreed. “No, it’s rude to invite someone I’ve never met,” she said.

The Barely filtered The hostess then rephrased it and asked if her “special friend” could be there.

“Yeah, okay. Flavor of the month,” Olivia joked. “Not interested.”

Aurora said her boyfriend would listen to the episode, prompting Olivia to speak to him directly. “I’m sorry, it’s not a reflection of you, it’s a reflection of my sister,” Olivia said.

Aurora would have preferred her boyfriend not attend the wedding festivities because she “didn’t want to take away” Olivia and McCaffrey, she explained. It would have been “awkward” for her boyfriend, Aurora noted, adding that her children are still getting to know him. Aurora shares son Remi, 5, and daughter Solei, 3, with ex-husband Mikey Bortone.

Aurora and the youngest Culpo sister, Sophia Culpo, were both bridesmaids at Saturday’s wedding. Sophia, 27, shared an exclusive look at the wedding preparations.

Olivia and McCaffrey were married in a chapel in Watch Hill, a seaside neighborhood in Westerly, Rhode Island. For the ceremony, McCaffrey wore a modest Dolce & Gabbana crepe ball gown with a scoop neck, long sleeves, and buttons down the back.

In an interview with FashionOlivia said she and McCaffrey chose to have their ceremony in a 150-year-old chapel in Watch Hill because the San Francisco 49ers quarterback always wanted to get married in a church. “That was our top priority,” she said.

She described marriage as a “covenant,” explaining, “It’s the beginning of the rest of your life, and it’s the commitment and bond between two people forever.”

The festivities continued at Ocean House, a luxury resort overlooking the ocean, where Culpo donned two more looks, each paired with a different hairstyle.

She paired her off-the-shoulder reception dress, which featured a rose embellishment in the center, with a half-up hairstyle. She then tied her hair in a relaxed ponytail to pair with her retro-inspired after-party minidress, which featured a sheer miniskirt with hoops and rose appliqués.
