Even if you’re not a huge fan of the royals, you probably know that the British royal family in particular likes to keep up appearances, especially in public. This generally means being on your best behavior and either looking neat and tidy, or being happy to do whatever it takes and doing your duty, even if that means just hanging out in your best clothes. Well, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s kids aren’t always so compliant when it comes to that rule, and Prince Louis has been known to pull funny faces. Now we’ve heard what Middleton reportedly thinks of his childish tendencies.

What would Kate Middleton think about Prince Louis making funny faces at events?

Kids do the craziest things, don’t they? I don’t think there’s an adult on the planet who hasn’t tried to stop a child from acting out in public, or who can’t remember being yelled at as a child for doing a little too much while out in public. Now imagine what would happen if you were to clown around at something as official as a royal event, as Kate Middleton and Prince William’s youngest child (after George and Charlotte), 6-year-old Prince Louis, did when he attended Trooping the Colour in June. He showed off a variety of hilarious crazy faces during the military-focused eventand a source just said OK magazine what his mother would think of his behavior, and said:

Louis is an energetic child and clearly couldn’t contain his excitement about a public event. Kate isn’t too concerned about their behavior. She loves seeing them as children.
