With Amazon kicking off Prime Day next week, there have already been some great deals popping up. But if past years are any indication, we’re expecting even more significant discounts on July 16th and 17th, with little time to grab them before they’re gone.

While Alexa can help you check out some highly sought-after deals, Amazon has also opened up a number of “invite-only” opportunities ahead of time. Requesting an invite to one of these limited-time deals won’t mean you’ll save $255 on a Citizen watch, but it will give you a sneak peek at some of the great deals that are planned.

How to sign up for Amazon’s invite-only Prime Day deals

What you need: A Prime subscription is required to access members-only Prime Day deals. If you don’t have a membership, you can start a free 30-day trial, but you’ll be charged $139 for the year if you don’t cancel within 30 days. (If you’re a student — or between the ages of 18 and 24 — you can save money on a subscription with a Prime student membership.)

Go to the Amazon website and log in with the credentials associated with your Prime subscription.

There aren’t many invite-only deals available yet, but more may be coming as Prime Day approaches.

Below are some of the best invite-only deals available. More will be added to the FAQ below as they appear:

When a deal is available by invitation only, you can either checkout for the total price or click Request an invitationThis only applies to deals that go live during Prime Day.

Now all you have to do is wait for your confirmation email and then Prime Day. A small pop-up will inform you that an email has been sent after you requested the invite and will explain the process to access the deal on Prime Day.

The email will be sent to the email address associated with the Prime subscription.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which deals are available by invitation only?

Here’s a growing list of the best invite-only Prime Day deals we’ve found:

Does requesting an invite guarantee a spot for the deal during Prime Day?

No. When you request an invitation to an invitation-only deal, you are not guaranteed access to the sale price during Prime Day. Additionally, item quantities are limited. Amazon will not honor all invitation requests.

According to Amazon, if you are invited and get access to the deal price, you will receive an email with a unique link during the Prime Day event to prevent people from sharing their deal links. This link will only be valid during the Prime Day event.

What if my request is accepted, but I can’t purchase the item before the offer ends?

According to Amazon, if you are invited to purchase an item at a sale price during Prime Day, but the timer on the product page expires, you will lose the opportunity to purchase the item. If applicable, you can request another invitation.
