Maple Candied Bacon
Maple Syrup, salt, fat, meat. If you're not sold go take a hike.

Directions

  1. 1.Preheat oven to 400*F, adjust oven rack to middle position

  2.  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminium foil, lay strips of bacon on lined pan without touching or overlapping.

  3. 3. Mix 1/2 cup maple syrup with 1 tsp dijon mustard, brush half of mix onto bacon

  4. 4. Bake for 20 minutes, remove from oven, flip bacon over and brush with remaining maple syrup and mustard

  5. 5. Return to oven and bake for another 20 minutes, or longer if you prefer. Remove from oven and let cool for few minutes. loosen back from pan and let sit until cool, if you can.
