Oven Fried Bacon

Better than in the frying pan. The oven makes it crispy, perfectly renders the fat, and is harder to overcook than on the stove top. Using a layer of parchment paper makes clean up simple and stops the bacon from burning.

Directions
1. Adjust oven rack to middle position and preheat to 400*F
2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with a sheet of parchment paper and lay the bacon out in a single layer
3. Cook for 6-8 minutes, flip the bacon using tongs or a fork and cook for 8-10 minutes longer depending of thickness and preferred doneness.
4. Transfer bacon to a paper towel-lined plate.
